Et tu, George Lucas?

This review from DVD File has a list of all the changes that little Georgey decided to make in the latest abomination of the original Star Wars trilogy.

Some hihghlights:

48.50: Han Solo avoids Greedo's shot before shooting at him.
50.56 to 52.05: Emperor's hologram has been reshot with Ian Mc Dairmid. A new dialog has been recorded and Palpatine informs Vader about Luke's real identity!
1.03.42, 1.27.18 & 1.38.39: Boba Fett's dialog has been re-recorded by Temuera Morrison.
1.55.41: Old Anakin's eyebrows have been erased and eyes are now blue, to fit with Hayden Christensen.

And the coup de grace:
2.02.30: As everyone knows already, Hayden appears as a ghost beside Yoda and old Obi-Wan at the end of the movie.

This last one really burns me. Nothing against Hayden, but this change was totally uncalled for.

Why George? Why? Why defile the movies this way? At the very least, stop refusing to release the original theatrical cuts on DVD. For God's sake, man, give the fans what they want.

Of course, being the asshole that I am, I will be buying the DVDs.

Oh, one last thing...

Greedo did not shoot first.
